A driver was arrested after yielding more than P20,000 worth of suspected shabu and marijuana during a buy-bust operation at Purok Sigay in Bacolod City’s Barangay 2 over the weekend.

Police arrested 42-year-old Jessie “Tat” Boy of Calamba Street in the said village.

Anti-drug operatives seized a total of 10 small sachets of suspected shabu, three small sachets of suspected marijuana, P500 buy-bust money, and drug paraphernalia.

The seized suspected shabu was valued at around P20,400, while the suspected marijuana was valued at around P360.

The suspect is now detained at Police Station 2 and facing charges related to Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./DGB, WDJ
