A man was arrested after allegedly killing his wife inside their house at Purok Makawiwili in Bacolod City’s Barangay Banago on Saturday afternoon, February 18.

Roselyn Destua, 33 years old, of Barangay Zone 6 in Negros Occidental’s Talisay City, was found dead with a blanket over her body and a belt on her neck inside her house, police said.

Her partner Josan Destua, 30 years old, was arrested minutes later.

Police said the suspect and the victim had an argument on Friday morning, February 17.

The suspect was observed to be in a panic mode as he left his house at 11:00 a.m, witnesses said.

He was detained at Police Station 3./WDJ
