The Negros Occidental Provincial Disaster Management Program Division (PDMPD) has a new head.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson has appointed Project Development Officer Mariefe Macaya as the new PDMPD officer-in-charge, replacing Dr. Zeaphard Caelian.

Macaya was previously assigned to the Provincial Administrator’s Office.

Her appointment as PDMPD head took effect last February 9, after Lacson signed Office Order No. 02-14-0126.

Earlier this month, Caelian was transferred as assistant assessor for the Silay City government.

Caelian was supposed to be transferred back in January.

However, it was delayed due to the processing of documents and the selection board’s interview with Caelian./DGB, WDJ
