Authorities confiscated two firearms and ammunition during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Don Jorge L. Araneta in Negros Occidental’s Bago City.

Noel Sabasan, 43 years old, a resident of the place, was arrested on Wednesday afternoon, February 15.

Seized from the suspect were an improvised shotgun, a .22 revolver and ammunition.

Sabasan is facing charges of violating Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./MS, WDJ
