A man was stabbed dead at Barangay Salong in Negros Occidental’s Kabankalan City yesterday morning.

Police identified the fatality as Rodrigo Osorio, 58 years old, while the suspect was Reneboy Hermosa, both residents of Salong’s Sitio Tarucan.

City deputy police chief Captain Dennis Melgarejo said Hermosa was searching for the victim’s children who the suspect had conflict with.

However, Osorio was the only one who faced Hermosa and stabbed the victim in his stomach.

The suspect was detained at the police station and facing a homicide charge.

Osorio was the uncle of Hermosa’s wife./WDJ
