Negros Occidental provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz said yesterday that Provincial Disaster Management Program Division (PDMPD) head Dr. Zeaphard Caelian will be transferred as assistant assessor for the Silay City government.

Diaz said Caelian was scheduled to be transferred in January. It was delayed due to the processing of documents.

Caelian forwarded a request to Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson that his work as PDMPD head is until January 30 only.

He is on leave until February 28.

Caelian’s case involving the unliquidated cash advances amounting to P3 million back in 2017 also remains under “show cause level.”

Diaz said they already have a possible replacement for Caelian, and they will make a formal announcement soon./DGB, WDJ
