A resident of Barangay Tinampa-an in Negros Occidental’s Cadiz City allegedly stole five units of mobile phones amounting to P44,200.

Police held Jose Maria Peñosa, 28 years old, following a theft complaint filed by Jesson Bariga, 30 years old, and his brother Junnel, 34 years old.

Peñosa allegedly broke into the victims’ boarding house in Zone 2 at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, January 30, police said./MS, WDJ
