A traffic enforcer of the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) is set to be fired after a video surfaced on social media showed him allegedly taking a P50 bill from the motorist’s wife he apprehended.
In a radio interview, BTAO head, Police Major Junji Liba said he recommended the enforcer, whose identity is being withheld, to be removed immediately.
According to Liba, the enforcer admitted receiving the money, but he denied asking for it.
The enforcer, a job order employee, worked with BTAO in July of 2022, Liba said.
He warned other enforcers to refrain from doing such activities to avoid consequences./DGB, WDJ
