A man was arrested for rape charges at Barangay Concepcion in Negros Occidental’s Talisay City earlier this week.

Rico Amante, 49 years old, a resident of Barangay Magsaysay in the province’s Escalante City, was caught at around 9:30 p.m., after the Regional Intelligence Unit of Police Regional Office in Western Visayas served a warrant of arrest signed by Judge Leonardo Facultad of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 69 dated January 11, 2023.

No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./MS, WDJ
