Two individuals were arrested in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Sampinit in Negros Occidental’s Bago City on Tuesday afternoon, January 3.

Arrested were 39-year-old Eulene Arellano, a resident of Bacolod City’s Barangay 27, and 42-year-old Ressel Lacson of Bago City’s Barangay Poblacion.

Nine plastic sachets of suspected shabu, valued at P13,600, were seized, police said.

Both will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./MS, WDJ
