LTO-Bacolod not ready to transfer to Mansilingan

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Bacolod City is not yet ready to transfer to its new facility located at Purok Manayaosayao in the city’s Barangay Mansilingan this month.

In a radio interview yesterday morning, LTO-Bacolod chief Renato Novero said they are concerned about the security of the new facility because it is located in a somewhat remote area of the village.

Novero said the internet connection is already in place, but there is some work that needs to be finished first.

He added they should be able to get complete details as to when they can finally move to the new office.

A total of P33.34 million was spent on the construction of the new LTO building.

Meanwhile, Negros Occidental provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz said the old LTO building, located on the city’s Cottage Road, will be converted into a multi-purpose building, possibly the CyberCentre 2./DGB, WDJ
