Passengers flock to BREDCO as work day resumes

More than a thousand travelers flocked to BREDCO Port in Bacolod City yesterday morning as the holiday season has ended and workday resumes today.

According to data released by Commander Jansen Benjamin, operations chief of the Philippine Coast Guard District in Western Visayas, a total of 1,696 Iloilo-bound passengers, 97 inbound rolling cargoes, and 867 passengers passed through the BREDCO port as of 11:00 a.m. yesterday.

Benjamin also posted data showing 11,408 inbound and 14,232 outbound passengers, and inspected 234 vessels and motor bancas in the region./DGB, WDJ
