Sagay man ‘brandishes’ gun held

A 43-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly brandished a gun on Wednesday evening, December 28.

Ange Mahinay, a resident of Barangay Old Sagay in Negros Occidental’s Sagay City was observed intoxicated during the apprehension by elements of the city police.

Police said they responded to a call for help about a man with a caliber .45 pistol and ammunition.

Mahinay is facing a charge of violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./WDJ
