A driver was arrested at the headquarters of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) on Tuesday afternoon, December 20, after a sachet of suspected shabu fell from his pocket.

Police identified the arrested as 34-year-old Willy Satoc, a resident of the city’s Barangay Mandalagan.

Satoc was at the police headquarters to get his license, which was confiscated by the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office for a traffic infraction, BCPO said.

However, a sachet of suspected shabu fell out of his pocket while he was trying to get his citation ticket.

The seized sachet of suspected shabu weighed only 0.5 grams and was valued at P500.

Satoc was arrested for the possession of illegal drugs.

A background check on Satoc also revealed that he was arrested for an illegal drug charge in 2013, but the case was later dismissed./DGB, WDJ
