A bus company announced yesterday that it is ready for the expected influx of travelers in Negros Occidental this holiday season.

In a radio interview, Jade Marquez-Seballos, public information officer of Vallacar Transit Incorporated, said prior to the influx of passengers this week, all of their drivers and conductors underwent routine check-ups to make sure that they were in good physical condition to drive.

Seballos reiterated the firm’s statement earlier this month that they have enough bus units to cater to the expected number of travelers this season.

They are also ready to provide additional bus trips on Christmas and New Year’s Day if necessary, she said.

It is expected that trips will return to normal or close to pre-pandemic levels this year after almost all of the COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted./DGB, WDJ
