The truck driver involved in the death of a teenage student in Negros Occidental’s E.B. Magalona town was tested negative for illegal drug use, police said.
Town police chief, Major Kenneth Jay Gratones said they are also confirming if the truck driver, 40-year-old Dante Sebugero, is suffering from a mental illness.
Charges of vehicular manslaughter have already been filed against Sebugero last Friday, December 16, Gratones said.
On Thursday, December 15, Grade 10 student Kevin Liscano was killed after being run over by a cane truck, driven by Sebugero, along the national highway in E.B. Magalona.
