Two individuals were nabbed for allegedly stealing telecommunications wire at Barangay Zone 12-A in Negros Occidental’s Talisay City yesterday morning.

Police identified the arrested as 31-year-old Marjoe Agapay, and 50-year-old Adamson Tiquison, both residents of Bacolod City’s Barangay Bata.

According to police, barangay tanods were conducting a patrol when they chanced upon the suspects allegedly trying to cut a wire.

Both suspects are facing charges related to Republic Act 10515, or the Anti-Cable Internet Tapping Act and they are presently detained./DGB, WDJ
