An estimated P190,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized following three separate buy-bust operations in Bacolod City, which resulted in the arrest of four people late Thursday night, December 1.
In the city’s Purok Kagaykay in Barangay 2, police arrested 41-year-old Reynold De Guzman and 26-year-old Jason Miag-ao after they allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer in exchange for P300.
The police recovered several sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P34,000.
Meanwhile, in the city’s Purok Chereza in Barangay 27, anti-drug operatives targeted the 52-year-old Ana Marie Soqueño, whom they identified as a high value drug target.
Police recovered four sachets of suspected shabu with a value of P102,000.
On the other hand, in the city’s Bangga Metal in Barangay Alijis, police arrested the 22-year-old Robert Serillo after he allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop in exchange for P500.
Police recovered five additional sachets of suspected shabu from Serillo with a combined street value of P54,400.
The four suspects are facing illegal drugs charges and are presently detained./DGB, WDJ
