A seven-month-old baby girl was killed after falling off a motorcycle and getting crushed by a truck at Barangay Payao in Negros Occidental’s Binalbagan town on Tuesday, November 29.

According to traffic investigators, the baby was carried by the mother while riding a motorcycle driven by the father at the time of the accident.

The father lost control of the motorcycle as he tried to overtake a truck along a pedestrian lane.

The baby was dropped and run over by the truck, killing her on-the-spot, while the parents had minor injuries in the incident.

The truck driver, 38-year-old Noel Pabores, turned himself in to police following the accident./DGB, WDJ
