Seven policemen were injured after their patrol car flipped at Barangay Caningay in Negros Occidental’s Candoni town yesterday morning.

The injured were police patrolmen Jerome Tolentino, Joey Bana-ag, Eric Abela, Bryan Ambaja; and Police Corporals Mark Jel Salazar, John Arevalo and Reggie Tacdoro of the 604th Regional Mobile Force Battalion.

According to traffic investigators from the Candoni Municipal Police Station, the cops were on a patrol and upon reaching a curved road, the brakes failed, causing the patrol car to lose control and crash.

The cops were immediately brought to the Candoni Rural Health Unit for treatment./DGB, WDJ
