Fire turns P1.5-M property to ashes

An estimated P1.5 million worth of property and belongings were turned into ashes following a blaze at Purok Kaingin in Bacolod City’s Barangay Punta Taytay, early yesterday morning.

The Bureau of Fire Protection in Bacolod City said they received a fire call around 3:23 a.m. in the house of Rodolfo Ramos.

The blaze was already at the first alarm status, and after 30 minutes a fireout was declared.

No one was killed in the blaze, but three members of the Ramos family got slight burn injuries.
