The security guard of a pawnshop in Negros Occidental’s Talisay City, who shot himself in a suicide attempt on Monday, November 7, had passed away.

City police chief, Colonel Cenon Vargas said they have yet to confirm what pushed the 24-year-old victim to take his own life.

Vargas also said they have yet to talk with the victim’s family.

He further pointed out that there was no robbery hold-up.

Prior to the incident, several people at the pawnshop had also noted that the security guard had been acting strangely.
