The No. 1 most wanted person in Negros Occidental’s Murcia town and the province’s No. 4 most wanted, a 19-year-old, surrendered on Tuesday afternoon, August 23.

Police identified the suspect as Franco Louis Tabucon, a resident of Purok 4 in the town’s Barangay Minoyan.

Murcia Police Station chief Captain Marc Joeil Reclamado said Tabucon went to their station and was accompanied by his relatives.

Reclamado said Tabucon has a standing warrant of arrest for 10 counts violating Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children against Child Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act, and Anti-Child Abuse Law.

The suspect also faces a rape case which was filed against him by the family of his alleged minor girlfriend, the police chief confirmed.

Tabucon was detained at the Murcia Police Station. The court recommended a P200,000 bail bond for each count for his temporary liberty./WDJ
