The Coast Guard Station – Northern Negros Occidental (CGS-NNOC) celebrated its 46th Founding Anniversary with the theme, “Sama-sama, Kayang-kaya, Lampasan ang Pandemya” last August 12, 2022 at O-Hotel, Bacolod City.

Commander Commo Edgar L. Ybanez, CGS district Western Visayas graced the said event as the guest of honor and keynote speaker.

During the event, CGS-NNOC Station Commander Joe Luviz V. Mercurio presented the commander’s report to showcase the accomplishments of the CGS-NNOC which were attained through the efforts, teamwork, and contributions of its personnel for the past months

Highlighting the celebration was the giving of plaque of appreciation to stakeholders and institutions for their invaluable support and assistance to the CGS-NNOC in accomplishing the PCG mission in ensuring a safe, cleaner and secure maritime environment.

The second part of the event was the awarding of honorary coast guard aviators badge to 618th Squadron by Coast Guard Aviation Force Commander Christine Pauline B. Diciano./WDJ
