The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) has a new regional director effective Monday, August 8.
Assuming the helm as Western Visayas’ new top cop is Police Brigadier General Leo Francisco, a graduate of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) “Tanglaw Diwa” Class of 1992.
Francisco was previously assigned as head of the Manila Police District, as well as the Deputy Regional Director for Administration of Police Regional Office 3 in Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, former PRO-6 director, Police Brigadier General Flynn Dongbo, has been relieved from his post and reassigned to Camp Crame in Metro Manila as the Philippine National Police Director for Logistics.
Dongbo served as PRO-6 director since November of 2021.
PRO-6 has yet to announce the schedule of the turnover ceremony./DGB, WDJ
