Fire hits 2-storey house in Mansilingan

An estimated P750,000 worth of property was either lost or damaged following a fire at a two-storey residence in Bacolod City’s Barangay Mansilingan on Saturday afternoon, May 14.

Based on information released by the city’s Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire call was received shortly before 5:00 p.m.

The fire lasted for 30 minutes before a fire out was declared. The blaze only reached the “1st Alarm” status.

According to BFP arson investigators, the fire started at the southwestern portion of the second floor, specifically at the bedroom of Roberto and Melba Cayetano.
