Two alleged drug suspects were arrested following a buy-bust operation at Purok Matahum in Bacolod City’s Barangay Tangub on Sunday, April 3.

Police identified the arrested as 27-year-old Garry Sanoy and 23-year-old Jinggoy Cataluña, both residents of the said place.

Police Major Joery Puerto, Police Station 8 commander, said their anti-drug operatives arrested Sanoy and Cataluña for conspiring with each other by selling one sachet of suspected shabu worth P500 to an undercover cop.

Puerto said both suspects have been on the station and the barangay’s illegal drugs watchlist.

Recovered from the suspects were six plastic sachets of suspected shabu, one black coin purse, and the P500 buy-bust money.

Puerto said the seized illegal drugs have a combined weight of 10 grams and valued at around P68,000.

Both Sanoy and Cataluña are facing illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at the Police Station 8./DGB, WDJ
