After campaigning for the new partylist she now supports in Bohol, Cebu, Iligan, and Surigao, Yassi Pressman visited Cagayan up north to make rounds in Tuguegarao City and the municipalities of Amulung, Baggao, and Sta. Praxedes for AP Partylist #AkoyPilipino, a partylist advocating for the transport and livelihood sector.
The AP Team on March 30, Wednesday, started the day with a visit to Tuguegarao City where they volunteered with locals in a community feeding program. From Tuguegarao, Pressman and AP Partylist visited Amulung, Cagayan to continue their campaign trail.
After Amulung, Cagayan, they traveled to Baggao and then Sta. Praxedes as their last stop. Thousands of supporters and fans of Yassi Pressman and AP Partylist attended the grand rallies in Cagayan, with some Yassi “super fans” getting the chance to meet the actress in person and take home memorabilia.
We all need a leader like Rep. Ronnie through AP Partylist, #AkoyPilipino,” Pressman said in one of her messages to the crowd.
Ronnie Ong said in his message.
Ong was nicknamed “the frontliner Congressman” by PeopleAsia because of his out-of-the-box COVID19 Bayanihan programs that goes beyond the policy work of a legislator. Programs like #LibrengGulay which supplied community kitchens in Metro Manila with vegetables from Benguet, #LibrengSakay which serviced health workers from various hospitals to their residences, #LibrengTablets for public school teachers, as well as established 36 E-skwela Hub e-learning centers nationwide for free wifi and PC use of students.
Tiktok sensation Diff Fam, a Cebuano-founded dance group, also performed with Yassi Pressman together with Cagayan homegrown talents – dancing and singing along AP Partylist’s “Ako’y Pilipinong Lumalaban” anthem to bring inspiration to the audience. Together they called on to Cagayan crowds, “Ikaw ay magtiwala, magtiwalang may magagawa, ito na ang panahon, ang tamang pagkakataon, sa bawat daing mo’y may tutugon.
