Jungle animals came alive at Robinsons Place Bacolod as the Emergency Operations Center-Task Force launched a safari-themed vaccination site for minors aged 5 to11 years old yesterday.
“When you look at these children, they may be small and cute, but they are also fearless. They will be the ones who will make our vaccination program complete,” said Mayor Evelio Leonardia, who visited the site.
The mayor also thanked the parents for entrusting the team for their kids’ vaccination, as well as the management of Robinsons Place for giving the program a “festive mood.”
Five-year-old Kliann Vincent Lasado of Barangay Bata was the first of 100 scheduled kids to receive his COVID-19 jab. He was accompanied by his father.
The Ayala Malls Capitol Central and SMX also launched their pediatric vaccination yesterday morning./WDJ
