PCG has new station commander in northern NegOcc

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) station in northern Negros Occidental has a new commander.

Effective February 5, 2022, Commander Joe Luviz Mercurio was designated as the new station commander of PCG Station in northern Negros Occidental.

Mercurio replaced Captain Ludovico Librilla, who has been reassigned to the Coast Guard District Western Visayas (CGDWV) in Iloilo City as deputy district commander.

Mercurio was assigned to the CGDWV in March of 2019 and was also previously the PCG station commander of Capiz, Iloilo and Aklan.

Mercurio belongs to the Coast Guard Officer Course Class 02-2001, alongside Librilla./WDJ
