Based on their advisory signed by Dr. Jesus Rey Pacilan, officer-in-charge and chief of hospital, their holding tents are now fully occupied.

However, Pacila said they will still accommodate emergency cases, non-respiratory, and OB patients as long as they have a negative RT-PCR test result.

They are also appealing that a proper referral system should be strictly observed so their triage and emergency room personnel will be aware and can give necessary advice.

Meanwhile, the Bago City Health Office (CHO) earlier announced that its birthing facility has also suspended its operation until Friday, February 4, for decontamination and that their health personnel were exposed to and infected by COVID-19 positive clients.

CHO added that its outpatient consultations will be until 12:00 noon only due to limited health staff on duty./DGB, WDJ
