The top heads of the national government’s Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) are expected to arrive today in Bacolod City to attend the launching of the city’s first “Resbakuna sa Botika” at the Mercury Drug Store at Ayala Malls Capitol Central.

In an advisory released yesterday afternoon, among the top officials attending the launching are National Action Plan on COVID-19 Chief Implementer, Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr.; Deputy Chief Implementer and Testing Czar, Secretary Vivencio Dizon; and Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Francisco Duque III.

Also attending the event are Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson.

The “Resbakuna sa Botika” was launched in the National Capital Region last month as the national government ramped up its COVID-19 vaccination efforts.

Latest data from the DOH revealed that around 58.7 million people in the country are already fully vaccinated against COVID-19./DGB, WDJ
