The municipal government of Cauayan in Negros Occidental has allowed an extension of the deadline for securing business and other permits, without penalties, after Mayor John Rey Tabujara gave his concurrence on the resolution which was approved by the Sangguniang Bayan.
The approval was in response to the request of the town’s taxpayers for an extension of the deadline due to financial constraints as well as lack of resources for permit renewal.
The town also suffered heavy damage following super typhoon “Odette’s” onslaught in December of last year.
The new deadline for Cauayan taxpayers to secure their business and other permits is now on February 28./DGB, WDJ
