Based on TLJPH’s advisory posted on the official Facebook page of the provincial government of Negros Occidental, they said a number of their healthcare workers either tested positive for COVID-19 or forced to undergo quarantine due to high risk exposure as a result of the recent spike in cases among their patients and watchers.

Because of this, the hospital management announced that they are temporarily suspending services at the OB/Gyne OPD until further notice.

The hospital is also limiting admissions to emergency cases only.

“We enjoin the public to please refrain from unnecessary exposure by staying at home and observing at least the minimum precaution as cases begin to rise in our locality,” the advisory said.

The hospital management added that COVID-19 vaccination will continue, although they advised individuals to wait for their scheduled time as they do not accept walk-in clients./DGB, WDJ
