San Carlos City gov’t gets donations from private sector

The city government of San Carlos in Negros Occidental received essential items from the private sector on Friday morning, January 14.

Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer Joe Recalex Alingasa Jr. turned over the 50 boxes or 5,000 paracetamol tablets and seven boxes of spaghetti grocery packs to Mayor Renato Y. Gustilo.

Alingasa said the essential items were donations from members of Negros Kaisa and Kaisa Para sa Kaunlaran thru their Tsinoy Community Outreach and SPTB Pharma and Medical Supplies Trading thru Marimel Baguioro.

He added that the grocery packs will be given to the City Social Welfare and Development Office while the medicines will be handed over to the City Health Office as additional supply./WDJ
