Police arrested a 40-year-old man facing illegal drugs charges at Sitio Mantulungan in Barangay Buenavista, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.

The suspect identified as Roel Tagboy of the said place was arrested around 12:30 p.m. on December 3 through the strength of an arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, issued by Judge Reginald Fuentebella of Regional Trial Court – Branch 59 in San Carlos City dated September 9, 2021.

Tagboy was detained at the Calatrava Police Station.

The court set a P202,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./WDJ
