“We are now filled with hope and anticipation that when the pandemic is over, Bacolod will once again surge with progress,” the mayor told micro, small and medium entrepreneurs at the launching of “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” photo exhibit and ribbon-cutting ceremony of “Shop Lokal” Christmas Bazaar and Trade Expo at Robinsons Place Bacolod’s Main Atrium on Wednesday, November 24.

He said that the expo came at a perfect time after the city was named Most Business-Friendly LGU in the highly-urbanized city category by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Traditional holiday decors, home-made treats and local handicrafts are on sale. Product demonstrations and free food tasting are among the highlights of Shop Lokal, which will run until November 30.

Exhibitors include ADM Boutique, Bacolod Showroom, BJMP, Brgy. Pahanocoy, CG Home Essentials, Chesca’s Food Products, Essential Three, Evan’s Foods, Gloria’s Bakery, Haze Mushroom, Lazobella PH, Marlene’s Native Food, Meneil’s Perfume, Nadz Bizmix, Pinky Pink Shop, RG Coffee, Simply By Hand, Tenshinzhan Dairy Products, Vinca Crafts, Wis Authentic Korean Kimchi, and Yamang Bukid.
