About P104,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated following a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay Bata around 12:32 a.m. yesterday.

Joint elements of the Bacolod City Police Station 5 and City Drug Enforcement Unit arrested 39-year-old Jordan Juris Prudencia in his residence.

Police confiscated six sachets of suspected shabu including the buy-bust item weighing around 16 grams and valued at P104,000; P300 in buy-bust money; improvised tooter and water pipe; and a coin purse.

Prudencia is now detained at the Police Station 5. He would be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
