The Land Tax Division of the Bacolod City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) is encouraging taxpayers to settle their real property tax (RPT) early to avail of the 20 percent discount on advance payment.
Acting City Treasurer Arlene Memoria announced yesterday that the CTO will limit the number of clients that they will serve starting December 1 in observance of the minimum health protocols set by local government and the national Inter-Agency Task Force to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The CTO-Land Tax Division will accept advanced RPT payments from December 1 to 31 at the 3rd floor of Ayala Malls Capitol Central from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except Sundays, Memoria said.
The CTO is also open on December 4, 11 and 18 (Saturdays) and on December 8 and 30 (non-working holidays) to accommodate taxpayers, she added.
Taxpayers are requested to bring their previous official receipts or Tax Declaration for accurate identification of their properties, the acting city treasurer said.
