Jenny Cris Villacampa of Julio Ledesma National High School was crowned as the Pintaflores Festival Queen 2021 through Facebook Live Friday night, November 5.
Villacampa captured the hearts of the judges with her astounding performance among the seven candidates.
She also bagged the People’s Choice Awards, Best in Group Performance and Best in Production number and received P50,000 cash prize with additional P5,000 worth of services from Brey’s Beauty Lounge.
Sharame Villabeto, representing Central Philippine State University, landed as first runner-up along with the Miss Photogenic award, Best in Solo Performance, and Ms. Brey’s Beauty Lounge – San Carlos where she also got P5,000 worth of services on top of the P30,000 cash prize.
Marieth Pescadero of Colegio de Sta. Rita de San Carlos Inc., on the other hand, was the second runner-up and also named Ms. Ponce Automobile Corp. and received P20,000 as cash prize while Jenelyn Baylosis of Sipaway National High School won the Best in Festival Costume with her vibrant and stunning outfit.
San Carlos City Mayor Renato Gustilo thanked and appreciated every candidate for their efforts in making the Pintaflores Festival very successful despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
He added that he extended the curfew from 12:00 midnight till 4:00 a.m. for the people of San Carlos to enjoy the festivity.
He also encouraged everyone to get vaccinated and to continue to observe the necessary minimum health protocol so they will be able to have fun with the assurance of being safe from COVID-19.
The Pintaflores Festival Queen 2021 was made possible through the City Tourism Office and its working committee while following the minimum health and safety protocols all throughout the competition./WDJ
