The provincial government of Negros Occidental will honor the province’s frontliners during the celebration of the “Cinco de Noviembre” tomorrow morning.

Provincial administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, said they consider all of the province’s frontliners in the fight against COVID-19 as heroes and they will be awarded due to their contributions for the health and welfare of every Negrense.
Diaz said there are also several individual awardees but Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson has decided to specifically focus on the teams that have actively participated in fighting the pandemic.
“Individuals, may mga stars man ta da, but you know without team effort budlay man gid pierdihon ang COVID-19,” the provincial administrator said. “It’s really a team effort for the awardees.”/DGB, WDJ
