The city government of Cadiz City in Negros Occidental revealed that they have already vaccinated at least 28.63 percent of their target population against COVID-19.
As of October 27, of the 113,093 targeted individuals for vaccination, the city has already completely inoculated at least 22,909 individuals
A total of 32,376 individuals, meanwhile, have already received their first dose.
With Cadiz City being recognized by the provincial government of Negros Occidental as one of the local government units which have zero leftovers in the vaccines being sent, the city has further ramped up its vaccination efforts.
Today, the city government will conduct vaccination in three areas in the city from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The three areas identified are the Cadiz City Arena and the covered courts of barangays Burgos and Caduha-an.
There are currently 150 slots open for first dose at the Cadiz City Arena, wherein the Moderna vaccine would be utilized.
In Barangay Burgos, 300 slots for Moderna vaccine are also open while 200 slots are available at Barangay Caduha-an.
Walk-ins are allowed in all three vaccination sites./DGB, WDJ
