A dead man was found floating off the sea – two days after he was reported missing – on Monday at Barangay Tapong in Negros Occidental’s Pulupandan town.

Pulupandan police said 30-year-old Daryl Decreto, a native of Barangay Abaca, San Enrique, Iloilo but temporarily residing at Barangay Malingin, Bago City, was last seen bathing in the Malingin River in Bago on Saturday, October 16.

Police investigation showed that Decreto accidentally slipped and was swept away by the strong current of the river./WDJ
