At least 30 residents of Barangay Palampas in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental recently underwent an entrepreneurship seminar by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Melani L. Bayabos, Junior Business Counselor of DTI-Negosyo Center San Carlos and resource person, said the activity is one of DTI’s advocacies aimed at broadening microbusiness campaigns and imparting knowledge about effective entrepreneurship.

The seminar focused on business entrepreneurship and business planning topics wherein participants were also taught on how to create a business plan, which serves as a roadmap for their respective business.

Participants Norma J. Larida and Rex P. Juan gratefully said that they will apply what they have learned during the seminar in order to improve and sustain their existing businesses, as sources of income./WDJ
