The province of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City received an additional shipment of COVID-19 vaccines yesterday.

Based on information released by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) at the Bacolod-Silay Airport, Negros Occidental received 4,700 doses of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine; 40,000 doses of Sinovac vaccine; and 17,550 doses of Pfizer vaccine.
Bacolod City also received its own shipment of vaccines comprising 30,600 doses of AstraZeneca; 9,800 doses of Sinovac; and 5,850 doses of Pfizer vaccines.
The vaccines were immediately claimed by the provincial and city governments and transported to their respective storage facilities.
The newly-acquired vaccines are expected to be distributed in a few days./DGB, WDJ
