Police identified the victim as 37-year-old Mark Anthony Cubos. He sustained multiple bullet wounds on the body, police added.

Police Station 3 commander, Police Major Richard Fajarito, said Cubos was found dead handcuffed in the back and his feet were hogtied.

They recovered several empty shells at the crime scene presumably from an assault rifle, along with a placard saying “El Vigilante Drug lord warrior; Sigeha pa, Sigeha nyo pa, interest pa lang ni sa sini nga bulan.”

His head was later recovered in Purok Sigay in the city’s Barangay 2.

Police recovered several empty .9mm and .45 caliber bullet casings at the crime scene, along with a placard stating “Bayad sa utang!!! Interest palang…Capital preparar para suma total!!! Halong Bacolod.” /DGB, WDJ
