Authorities identified the driver of the truck as 49-year-old Jose Guardiano.

Based on information released by Barangay Singcang-Airport captain Rosinie Distrito on social media, Guardiano’s truck was heading to Binalbagan town when the container it was carrying accidentally caught several telecom wires in the area and subsequently causing several utility poles to go down.

The incident reportedly took place around 12:30 a.m. yesterday.
