The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) has set a power interruption in some parts of Negros Occidental on Sunday, September 12, in order to give way for maintenance works.

According to information released by the NGCP, the power interruption will start at 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

The NGCP said the interruption is due to the shutdown of their 100MVA Power Transformer No. 2 that will affect the Central Negros Electric Cooperative’s (CENECO) sub-stations in Alijis, Murcia, Sum-ag, and Lag-asan.

Among the main transmission lines that are affected by the power interruption are the Bacolod-San Enrique 69kV line, and the Bacolod-Alijis 69kV line./DGB, WDJ
