PRO-6 director visits NOCPPO, BCPO

The regional director of the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) arrived at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano, Sr. in Bacolod City yesterday to lead the team of evaluators from PRO-6 as NOCPPO and Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) undergo Integrated Transformation Program-Performance Governance System (ITP-PGS) Proficiency Evaluation Process (PEP) Performance Audit.

Together with PRO-6 director Police Brigadier General Rolando F. Miranda were Police Brig. Gen. Allan C. Nobleza, Deputy Regional Director for Administration, and Police Col. Martin E. Defensor, Chief Directorial Staff, the second and fourth highest in command in PRO-6, respectively.

The ITP-PGS PEP is the third step in the transformation journey of NOCPPO after the Initiation and Compliance stages were completed in 2014 and 2017, respectively.
The PEP is divided in two parts, the Performance Audit and Revalida. The Performance Audit, which started on August 31 until September 3, will include the documents review. There will also be site visits and personnel interview.
NOCPPO director, Police Col. Romy I. Palgue, will present the initiatives, milestones and transformation breakthroughs of NOCPPO to the audit team.

Meanwhile, Miranda and Nobleza also visited the remains of Police Staff Sergeant Joseph Nepomuceno laid at St. Peter, Chapels-Bacolod to extend condolences to the bereaved family. The cop was gunned down by a motor-riding assailant along Rosario Street in Bacolod City last August 29./WDJ
