Ilongga volleybelle Chrisann Susbilla will remain with University of the East (UE) for college after committing to join the Lady Warriors ahead of the UAAP women’s seniors volleyball wars.

The Iloilo City-native open spiker opted to stay with UE as she said she was already familiar with the school after having played for a season with the UE Junior Lady Warriors.
“I have decided to stay with University of the East for college because I am already comfortable with this team and I am also familiar with my teammates,” the 5-foot-6 Susbilla said.
Susbilla is the latest Ilongga to don the red and white jersey of the Lady Warriors after Leon-native Ma. Shaya Adorador, who had her success recently with the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in the 2021 Premier Volleyball League.
Susbilla had a one-and-done season with the UE Junior Lady Warriors in UAAP Season 82 girls volleyball where the school finished at sixth place among seven teams with 2-10 win-loss record.
Susbilla also showed her prowess with the Junior Lady Warriors in UAAP Season 82 girls beach volleyball where the team had a 2-2 record prior to cancellation due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Susbilla is being tipped to contribute offensively for the Lady Warriors, which had a 3-11 record in UAAP Season 81 women’s seniors volleyball and 0-2 in the shortened UAAP Season 82.
Prior to being recruited by the Junior Lady Warriors in 2019, Susbilla was a former standout of Central Philippine University Golden Lions, where she won a handful of high school volleyball titles.
The Ilongga volleybelle was also part of the CPU Golden Lions-led WVRAA squad that took home a bronze medal in the girls volleyball event of 2017 Palarong Pambansa in Antique.
Susbilla also captured a gold medal in the Bacolod Tay Tung High School Thunderbolts-led WVPRISAA squad in the girls volleyball event of the 2018 National PRISAA in Davao City./ASC, WDJ
